BAPL announces new Best British Apple Launch Award
28th August 2025
British Apples & Pears Limited (BAPL) has announced the launch of a brand-new prize called the Best British Apple Launch Award.

This award is set to celebrate the most impactful, creative, and effective campaigns or activations that support the start of the British apple and pear season from September to November.
“Whether it is a memorable TV advert, a standout in-store display, a sales-driving promotion, investment in sampling, engaging online storytelling, or a powerful multichannel campaign – we want to celebrate the very best examples of how retailers bring the new British season to life,” a spokesperson for BAPL said.
Who can enter?
BAPL said that entering the award is free and open to all UK-based retailers – online, in-store or both. The campaign activity must relate specifically to the start of the British apple and pear season.
Entries open in mid-December 2025. The deadline to apply is 31st January 2026.
Judging will take place between March and April 2026. The winner will be announced in April 2026.
